Nicole Correa


NICOLE CORREA - BalletBorn and raised in Boston, received training on full scholarshipat the Boston School of Ballet,the San Francisco Ballet School, the Royal Danish Ballet School,School of American Ballet,and was selected by Mikhail Baryshnikov to attend American Ballet Theatre's School of Classical Ballet.

Professionally, she danced with Charleston Ballet, Memphis Ballet, International Ballet Rotaru and seven seasons as a Principal with Sarasota Ballet. Mrs. Correa performed various leading roles including those in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Giselle, Don Quixote, and Madame Butterfly.

After the birth of her son in July of 2001, Mrs. Correa changed from a Performing Career to a Teaching Career as this allowed more time for raising her son.

She has done private coaching and has taught at the Sarasota Ballet Academy, Brandon Ballet School, Deborah Vinton's School of Ballet, Florida Ballet Arts and The Studio of Dance and Music, and Gulf Coast Ballet.
